It started off really nice and then got incredibly rushed. And a vital plot point was literally skipped over.
At first, I thought it was an error but I even deleted it to download again and no change. There's fast forward and then there's this. At the risk of a minor spoiler... There was no progression from how the characters went from hating each other to having sex. None. One page, she was about to face his seeming wrath. The literal next page, he's kissing her forehead and they plan a secret meet.
And then there was a reveal that was not shown, only the consequences.
Adding that character dialogue is often crammed into the same paragraph as opposed to separating them respectively... and it seems like an editor was desperately needed.
Still, I give it 2 stars because it did begin well and the story idea was what drew me. It just didn't come out well... Undercooked, I'll say.
My suggestion is this is more a rental than a buy. If you don't have Unlimited like I do, save yourself a purchase.
Gets a bit tedious. Didn't expect greatness but was still disappointed. Probably won't finish it.
essentially the same story over and over again. Just change the names and what kind of animal they can change into. Often there is not even any shape shifting.
I enjoyed the read. A fast pace book you don't want to put down.
Karma gets a good go round in this story. That said the story was fantastic I loved it
I love shifters!! Lions and tigers, especially!! Rebecca always has good stories!! She writes in details, but, not so that you get an overload of info!! I love the human woman and the male shifter, it keeps the storyline exciting!! I recommend this book to everyone!! 😀
Rosella ends up stuck in Africa totally hating it until she meets Iyasu, the lion King of his pride. It was cute when she purposely liked to irritate him just to get his attention. It works because he falls for her but unfortunately so does his younger brother. This is sexy and fierce, feral and a very enjoyable read. I love how everything is straight up and to the point which keeps the story moving forward. Plus I just love wild cats. ) Nicely executed enchanting read.
